Corrections
Financial figures change every year, and sometimes we get one wrong. Our policy is simple: when a published video contains an error or a figure that has since changed, we pin a dated correction comment on that video, and where the error is material we re-render the video. Nothing is silently edited or quietly deleted.
We run a standing verification system: every dollar amount and rate in our scripts is checked against a registry of figures sourced from the IRS, CMS, CRA, ATO, HMRC and other primary sources, each entry carrying the date we last verified it. A full re-scan runs every November when new tax-year figures land.
Correction log
Every correction we've issued, newest first. Each links to the video where the dated correction is pinned publicly. Spotted something off? corrections@thefineprint.network — we credit reporters who catch real errors.
